Sales Director
Panther is seeking proven professionals capable of leading the sales and marketing effort within a specific industry vertical. The individual must be able to grow existing accounts and solicit new accounts, as well as lead Panther territory managers in growing business in their territories. In addition, this individual will be responsible for events and advertising within the industry vertical. The position reports directly to the EVP of Sales and Marketing located in Chicago.
Requirements
- Proven leadership and success
- 10+ years of sales experience in the transportation industry
- Familiarity with expedited transportation services including both ground and air
- 50% travel – 20% locally; 30% nationally
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
- Competent with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) a plus
