Few companies can honestly say their leadership "gets it." While driving a Sprinter van to raise money for Toys for Tots, Panther’s Andy Clarke, CEO, and Ed Wadel, CIO, dealt with many of the challenges that accompany a life on the road.  They faced busted headlamps, frozen fuel lines, rush hour traffic and a blinding snowstorm. Why would two "suits" want to endure this for a week?  They did it to help underprivileged kids by raising money for the USMC Toys for Tots program and they wanted to experience some of the challenges that are faced by owner-operators on a daily basis.  They identified areas of improvement and can look a driver in the eye and say, "I get it" with a clear conscience.
